Responsible for supervising the Assistant Behavior Consultation-ABA, Behavior Health Technician-ABA and monitoring compliance with adopted best practice standards/treatment models; Provide child, caregivers, 1:1 staff support and BHT-ABA psycho-education regarding the child’s diagnosis and learning style and behavioral interventions; Provide guidance using knowledge of the current techniques proven to be effective with this population through the utilization of behavioral analytic principles and interventions; Write, review and revise the treatment plan in accordance with the Commonwealth IBHS regulations; Review and update the Assessment; Utilize standardized assessment an screening tools.
This position requires evening and weekend hours as clinically indicated per specific case needs. Cases will be assigned to ensure that the minimum billing requirement of 25 hours per week is met.
Services can be provided at school and/or in the home/community and are located throughout the city of Philadelphia.
Education/Training:
Licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services AND one of the following:
- Certification as a BCaBA
- Minimum of providing one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 college credits in ABA
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA under the supervision of a BCBA
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience providing behavioral consultation services including ABA principles. In addition, the experience must include writing comprehensive treatment plans and FBAs utilizing ABA interventions. Experience providing oversight and behavioral technique training to direct care staff and families is also required. Experience providing services under IBHS regulations preferred.
