Full Job Description
BienVenue Events is seeking an Event Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of events by fulfilling client requests, assisting with event setup and break down, maintaining the venue, conducting tours, managing inventory, and ensuring overall event satisfaction. The position is part-time, working some Tuesday & Thursday evenings (tours/maintenance) and Friday through Sunday for a total of 2-10 hours per week. The position is based in two locations: 9630 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Suite C, Humble, TX, and 2409 Commerce Street, Houston, TX.
Salary range: $12-17 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with client requests and event fulfillment
- Coordinate, communicate and execute and manage all aspects of venue operations, to include: venue operations, tours, maintenance and inventory.
- Assist with execution of various marketing initiatives, as well as light event administrative duties.
- Identify and build relationships with our clients and influencers.
- Liaise with our vendors during the event planning & execution process to ensure everything is in order.
- Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event. Answer any client questions and ensure they are satisfied
- Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
- Manage parking operations and valet services if necessary.
- Ensure clients are following all venue rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Impeccable character, honesty and trustworthiness
- Approachable, energetic and personable.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, handling various job responsibilities at once (client communications, venue operations, hosting tours, phone messages, correspondence, etc.)
- Self-starter with strong initiative to take action with little direction or supervision.
- Capable of handling high-level engagements with our clients.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with poise and confidence.
- Previous experience as an event manager/planner is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
