Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and analysis to support the pharmacy’s strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Job Specific Requirements:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and operational initiatives.
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
- Support the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and industry trends is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal responsibility regarding accuracy and quality of work.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Maintains confidentiality of all data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial software (Tableau or Sigma).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
