We are a physician-owned practice specializing in physiatry services in skilled nursing facilities as well as inpatient rehab facilities. Our aim is to improve patient outcomes as well as the quality measures of the facilities we serve. Our physiatrists work closely with therapy teams at each facility to ensure maximal functional rehabilitation and recovery in the most efficient manner possible.
MA Duties:
- Get/maintain list of patients from MDS Coordinator
- Med Reviews/Tracking sheet
- Scheduing Patient Visits/creating encounters
- Coordination with outside clinics for procedures/BH
- Phone calls with patient/family/POA
- Obtaining Function Status/Therapy updates
- Ordering Orthodics/Equipment (DME)
- Prior Auths
Requirements:
- Must have WA CMA license
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus
- Familiarity with basic life support procedures is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
