Swan Therapy Group, LLC is seeking qualified professionals to support us in our goal to ensure maximum growth potential for each client.
The Registered Behavior Technician will apply the individual goals assigned to clients by running trials or task analysis activities in either a 1:1 or group setting. The RBT will be responsible for collecting data from the client session and compiling a session note to support the data in conjunction with the reports prepared by either the BCaBA or BCBA to support the ongoing skill acquisition and intervention plans for each client.
RBT Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a group home, school, and community-based environments.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for skill acquisition and behavioral concerns developed by the BCaBA and BCBA.
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
- Provide regular updates on treatment goals including daily session notes.
- Support the BCaBA and BCBA with training families and other caregivers on implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide BCaBA and BCBA with feedback on client’s programs and ask when guidance is needed.
- Participate in required and other job-related professional development to improve or maintain certification/skills.
- Become proficient in the use of EMR (Central Reach) and maintain client records.
RBT Job Requirements
- Must have a basic understanding of different types of data collection and graphing data.
- Must have the ability to use and describe the following: Preference Assessment, ABC data, Differential Reinforcement, Antecedent Interventions, Consequence Interventions, Extinction Procedures, Shaping, and Chaining/Task Analysis Procedures
- Able to regularly work 25-40 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation for travel between various work sites.
- Must have or be able to obtain by the time of hire a level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
- Must have current Article 9 certificate of training.
- Must abide by company policies and procedures.
- Employees must be able to verbally communicate in English. Being bilingual is a plus.
- Must be willing to work in a clinical setting or 1:1 in clients’ homes.
- Must meet with BCBA 5% of monthly hours worked for supervision to maintain RBT Certification.
RBT Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or national equivalent.
- Must have current Registered Behavior Technician certificate with the BACB -OR- hold a course certificate of completion for a BACB-approved 40-hr RBT course; completed within the last 90 days preferred.
- Must have or be capable of completing First Aid/CPR training within 90 days of hire.
- Maintain a clear criminal record.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
