SUMMARY
Join Charles River Center’s expanding clinical team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts!
In this role, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will join a team dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities in their daily lives. Each member of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) clinical team provides support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, mental health disorders, and substance abuse disorder in residential and day program settings. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) should be prepared to collaborate with creative and dedicated teams, advocate for independence and choice, manage a caseload, provide meaningful training, and participate in unique opportunities for training and leadership.
What you’ll do:
· Create and implement behavior support plans, guidelines, and other documents necessary for CRC and DDS regulations
· Conduct FBAs and other assessments as needed
· Create and manage data collection systems
· Supervise RBTs (Registered Behavior Therapists)
· Manage and support a caseload of Individuals
· Assist and attend in meetings with stakeholders as needed
· Conduct training
· Assist in behavioral crises as they may occur
· Work with interdisciplinary team to provide support, including staff, Program Directors, Residential Directors, family, guardians, nursing, SLP, OT, PT, and outside agencies as necessary
· Hold a valid Safety Care® certification
· Adhere to Charles River Center safety standards, policies, and procedures
· Perform additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s education or currently in a master’s program
· Hold an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or in the process of attaining certification within 1 year
· Maintain credentials annually
· Experience and knowledge in the principles of ABA and working with Individuals with disabilities
· Valid driver’s license.
· Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
· Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other agencies.
· Must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with flexible 8-hour days based on caseload needs. One work from home day per week. This position is community-based with an office in Needham. A laptop and cell phone will be provided to enable work from any Charles River Center location.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be fluent in English and can read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000
- $3,000 sign on bonus (50% upon hire; 50% after six months)
