We are looking for a caring Clinicians with a background in mental health and or chemical dependency to join our outpatient counseling center. Joshua Tree provides outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse treatment to individuals from the community. We provide individual and group therapy in a comfortable and confidential setting. In addition to evidence-based curriculum, we have a faith-based curriculum for those choosing that path.
The successful candidate must have a background treating a wide variety of patients. You will be working full-time, so you must have your own reliable transportation and can work independently without any direct supervision.
Must have an Ohio License in relevant field
Be currently licensed as a LCDC II, LCDC III, LICDC, LPCC, LPC, LISW, LSW
Responsibilities:
- Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
- Works with multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of Program Director, DCS and counselors to meet the clinical needs of the client and to assist with their overall well-being.
- Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
- Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
- Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
- Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
- Performs and maintains at least 26 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week through individual or group counseling. (case load permitting)
- Educates patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
- Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
- Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of assessment and diagnosis.
- Knowledge of treatment planning.
- Knowledge of ASAMs.
- Knowledge of principles, theories and methods to treat mental, emotional issues and substance use.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards.
- Knowledge of ethical, legal and professional conduct.
- Knowledge of OMHAs regulations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
