Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
The Associate Brand Design Manager is responsible for execution of comprehensive brand design and graphic design projects for the Portfolio Growth Strategy and Positive Choice brands that extend from our North American portfolio into global markets and business units.
You will leverage the power of Design Thinking and branding methodologies, demonstrating superior ability to inspire and engage cross-functional teams to drive projects from ideation to execution with quality brand design solutions from test to launch, collaborating with a team or creatively directing external partners.
The main objective of this role is to execute major brand design projects, strategies, and media to shelf initiatives in addition to guiding a team and management stakeholders towards those objectives to ensure coordinated success.
This means planning, organizing, and implementing consistent design principles and processes to ensure that the design, strategy and production guardrails are met and aligned across design and business partners.
Accountabilities:

Creating high quality brand design solutions by directly executing design and leveraging internal/external design resources.

Great sketching skills and idea development techniques to create and communicate concepts

Understanding and passion for human-centered design, ability to synthesize consumer first design principles to achieve business objectives

This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver quality brand design solutions with a mind for innovation, and awareness of media to retail continuity, experiential and industrial design.

Collaborative, able to ideate and construct ideas within a team-based design environment

Technically solid, able to illuminate ideas and visualize design stories across a variety of media

Synthesize design thinking and build design comprehensive storytelling to convince internal stakeholders as much as end consumers

Iterate on designs based on direction and feedback from Brand Design lead

Design in alignment to evolving brand standards with emphasis on brand consistency

Accurately produce brand assets/imagery

Present design concepts in a clear and concise manner

Ideate and construct ideas within a team-based design environment

Consistently meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of work while managing multiple projects

Participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions and consistently use sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgment in developing and applying marketplace trends
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule

Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary

Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, Experience Design, Brand Design, or Graphic Design required

Minimum 6+ years of hands-on creative brand design experience (e.g. developing strategic brands, style guides, 360 visual identity, brand packaging, brand experiences, promotional thematics, point of sale)\

Extraordinary design taste
Strong typography and layout sensibility -
Advanced in using the Adobe Creative Suite software, including production/packaging assets, digital assets for social media platforms

Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic work environment; is comfortable with risk and uncertainty

Effectively collaborate across functions in order to deliver on project plans

Drive for results, able to influence and accomplish tasks through formal and informal channels

Effectively communicates (verbally and written) with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.

Experience participating in human-centered research a plus
