Sr. Director of Commercial Auto Liability Claims and Litigation
As the Sr. Director of Commercial Auto Liability Claims and Litigation, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s claims and litigation portfolio, including strategy, budget, staffing, and performance. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, insurance carriers, defense counsel, plaintiffs’ attorneys, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the company’s interests are protected and advanced. You will also monitor and analyze industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues, and provide guidance and recommendations to the company on how to mitigate risks and optimize results.

To qualify for this role, you must have:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in commercial auto liability claims and litigation, preferably in the trucking industry or a related sector.
- A proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of claims and litigation professionals.
- A strong knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment affecting the trucking industry, including, nuclear verdicts
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating, resolving, and litigating complex and high-value claims, involving multiple parties and jurisdictions.
- A high level of analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
