Your Job:
The Parts Counter Sales/Support personnel responsibility is to perform a variety of customer service duties. This person will take ownership of various responsibilities that expand more than this job description as needed to help run the department and company smoother and more efficiently leading to profitability. Follow company policy and guidelines to help create a safe and enjoyable workplace.
Your Responsibilities:
Job requirements may include the following where applicable:
- Sell and research products and or services for internal/external customers with emphasis on quality, exceptional customer service, and follow up
- Greet and acknowledge customers in a professional manner in person or by phone. Maintain positive relationships with internal/external customers
- Accurately input process and close orders
- Process packing slips and invoices in a timely manner. Follow-up with vendors as needed.
- Pull orders for customers/technicians.
- Restock service trucks as needed
- Receive, add or update parts inventory as needed using Softbase
- Follow-up with customers on PO's with special instructions and close orders. Bill out credit cards if COD
- Help maintain inventory. Required participation for inventory audits
- Assist in keeping parts areas clean and organized
- Resolve customer complaints or issues, escalate to Manager as needed.
- Other duties as requested
Required Skills /Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent (Required)
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to communicate technically in the products we service.
- Good computer skills including Word and Excel
- Must hold or be able to obtain Operators License for powered industrial equipment
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May require sitting for long periods of time working in front of the computer, physically lifting and moving up to 50lbs. (on occasion), walk on concrete floors with the ability to use full range body motion for climbing, pushing, lifting, and reaching.
