Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk
- Coordinate patient intake and scheduling appointments
- Maintain electronic health records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Verify insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical/dental staff to facilitate patient care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- HospiceMD Experience is a must
