Job Title: Front Desk Operations Coordinator
Overview/Job Purpose
The Front Desk Operations Support is responsible for overseeing the initial and ongoing education programs of front desk team members for both urgent care and primary care to ensure efficient operations and the delivery of the highest quality care. The employee will ensure front desk team competency and quality education programs are in place as identify opportunities for new content development and skills and creating continuous improvement process for education and excellence.
Summary of Primary Duties:
- Work with leadership to ensure that each employee understands their job description, the desired results associated with their work, and the resources available to achieve the results.
- Train and develop staff with ongoing support from leadership to ensure they are capable of performing their duties while assisting with the development ongoing training/ continuing education programs.
- Complete annual employee education reviews and competencies
- Responsible for scheduling front desk employees at all clinics each month
- Responsible for monitoring and delegating work that is assigned to the unpostables Athena bucket
- Coordinate with necessary departments in order to assist with completing real time medical record requests
- Serve as a communication line and liaison for the billing and facilities department in order to improve operational efficiencies
- Responsible for completing monthly quality audits of front desk staff across all clinics
- Create and implement new education programs as necessary
- Supervise students for interships/ externships and delegate authority and responsibility when and where need is indicated
- Visit each clinic on site as needed for ad hoc concerns and conversations
- Onboarding education for new hires
Cover front desk shifts as necessary due to staffing needs

- Able to provide innovative input into the development and ongoing improvement of the clinic and its processes
- Efficient, organized and accurate
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience in front desk systems preferred
- Two or more years of leadership experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
