Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong management and clinical skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and professional development
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination of patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory & accreditation requirements and standards of practice
- Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Advocate for patients and promote a culture of patient-centered care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies
Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Nursing or related field strongly preferred. Masters Degree in Nursing or related field (MBA, MHA) desired.
- Proven experience in nurse management or nursing administration
- Strong knowledge of peri operative patient care
- Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Proficient in documentation review and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- In-depth understanding of anatomy & physiology and medical terminology
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
