Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and will be responsible for inspecting residential properties to ensure they meet all the standards and regulations. The Home Inspector will work closely with home buyers, sellers, and realtors to provide valuable insights about the property's condition.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues or areas of concern.
- Inspect various systems and components of the home, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, foundation, and structural elements.
- Utilize construction management knowledge to evaluate the quality of workmanship and adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and contracts to understand the specifications and requirements of the property. - If needed
- Collect data and document findings during inspections using specialized tools and software.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining observations, recommendations, and any necessary repairs or improvements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection findings and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough examinations of properties, both interior and exterior, ensuring they meet all local building codes and safety regulations.
Produce detailed and easy-to-understand inspection reports, highlighting potential issues and necessary repairs.
Communicate effectively with clients, answering any questions and providing clarifications related to the inspection.
Coordinate with real estate professionals to schedule inspections.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Attend professional development and training sessions as required.
Ensure all inspections are conducted in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and contracts.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or areas of concern.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and explain inspection findings clearly.

- Familiarity with specialized tools and software used for home inspections.
Qualifications:
State Licensed Home Inspector or InterNACHI certification preferred.
Experience in home inspection or related field is a plus
In-depth knowledge of building codes, structures, and systems.
Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use modern inspection tools and software.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
