Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Moveras, LLC is dynamic automotive transmission remanufacturing company seeking a Production Engineering Technician to focus on quality and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods & work instructions within assigned manufacturing cell.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Engineering Technician works under moderate supervision to provide technical support to operations on a variety of engineering-related tasks including machine downtime, product problems, and quality evaluations. The technician would be the first line of defense in helping to resolve safety concerns, troubleshooting quality issues, and improve efficiencies in production. The Technician would be responsible for following inspection processes and signing off on all units which leave the cell to ensure compliance to procedures. Additionally, it could include review of workflows, routings, floor layouts, material handling, testers, or machine utilization.
Required Skills/Experience:

Provides support to production and manufacturing engineers on a variety of tasks.

Inspects sub assembly and finished goods prior to release from cell.

Plans and executes experiments and gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, manipulates and analyzes technical data.

Aids in the planning and implementation of manufacturing engineering process changes or engineering design changes to support plant operations.

Performs troubleshooting and continuous improvement involving the repairing, modification, and testing of mechanical, electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, and production equipment.

Maintains process controls to ensure equipment and operations are performing to design specifications.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems.

Basic knowledge of machine controls, hydraulics pneumatics, and CNC operations

Performs under general supervision, applies intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Solves basic problems. May assist in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of other employees.

Applies scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools, and systems to ensure compliance to production and product specifications across applicable operating conditions.
