Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Avionics Assembly Line Technician to join our team in Philadelphia. This role is crucial for ensuring the high-quality assembly, modification, and installation of electrical components within our aviation production line. The successful candidate will be proficient in handling various tasks including reading technical documentation, managing equipment logs, and effectively communicating within the team.
Job Description:
- Assembly and Installation: Skillfully assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other critical electrical components according to precise specifications.
- Documentation and Control: Maintain accurate records of work performed, manage equipment status tags, log essential information during installation processes, and verify parts requests to ensure continuity and accuracy in production.
- Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret various technical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and process specifications. Utilize technical manuals and written instructions to achieve correct assembly and troubleshooting.
- Tool and Equipment Operation: Utilize a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, and a heat shrink gun. Operate complex, specialized aircraft testing equipment to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical installations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with colleagues, supervisors, and other necessary personnel within the operations.
- Flexibility and Safety: Perform assigned duties across all shifts, adapting to varying weather conditions and physical locations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.

Pay: $55,374.00 - $60,066.00 per year
