The Machinist will be responsible for fabricating replacement and new parts for facility machinery. Fabricate, erect, install, and maintain machinery.
Manual Machinist duties:
- Fabricate replacement and new parts for machinery

- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery
- Maintain and secure work tools
- Clean and maintain work area
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for Manual Machinist position:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with both hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. You may also be required to sit and climb or balance. You must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds with assistance. Must have the ability to work independently, be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Experience using lathe, milling machine, drill press, and vertical/horizontal cut off saw.
Conditions of employment for the Manual Machinist position:
Successful candidates must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and have an acceptable 3 year Motor Vehicle Report as may be required by current company policy.
