Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Assist with dental billing and insurance claims
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation
- Familiarity with dental coding systems (e.g., CDT codes)
- Experience working with CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions (e.g., CEREC)
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)

Previous experience as a dental assistant is reqhired. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills and willingness to learn. Knowledge of medical records management, patient assessment, pediatrics, medical documentation, medical coding, CAD/CAM systems (such as CEREC), and proficiency in ousing electronic health record systems (such as Epic) are all highly desirable.
