Korch Orthodontics in Hershey, PA has an immediate opening for a Chairside Dental Assistant. We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic, high energy, dedicated and self-motivated individual to our team! You'll be on the front lines delivering exceptional care and service to our patients and their families. Starting compensation based on experience.
Sample Job Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist in providing high-quality orthodontic care to patients
- Running your own chair, changing arch wires, bonding brackets, placing appliances
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment care instructions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Taking x-ray’s, photos and scans
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records
Skills Needed:
- Orthodontic or Dental assisting experience is required, willing to train a team player with limited orthodontic experience and a superior attitude.
- DANB Radiology certification is required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Candidate must possess exceptional people and organizational skills.
- Our office has a high tech computerized software system, and knowledge of computers is necessary. Experience with iTero scanners is a plus.
- This position does require an extroverted personality with strong communication skills
- Reliability, promptness, and high standards for personal performance are a must.

Paid Vacation and generous 401K. Health care reimbursement if necessary. 32-36 hours per week with one paid weekend of "on call".
Hours: 4.5 days / week, M,T, W, and F from 7:40 AM until 5:30PM, one Thursday per month 9-1. Paid vacation, Generous 401K. Health care reimbursement.
