Expectations for the Role:
The role as Sales at the Farmers Markets is 20 hrs a week on Saturday and Sunday. The role is part time and seasonal through through Labor Day weekend making this the perfect job for students and teachers alike. A typical week looks like picking up supplies from the warehouse in Kearny Mesa on Friday (1 hr), selling on Saturday at the Old Town Farmers Market (9am arrive and set up, 10am-5:30pm selling, breakdown by 6:30pm) and Sunday at the Old Town Farmers Market (9am arrive and set up, 10-4:30pm selling, breakdown by 5:30pm).
Our warehouse is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, CA.
An ideal candidate loves sales, is very energetic and super extroverted! Is great at upselling and helping customers and enjoys making the booth set up look beautiful. Someone with a great, can-do attitude is a perfect fit for the role and the team!
