Job Summary: The English Turn Golf and Country Club Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the club's reception area. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greeting and Welcoming: Welcome members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about club services, facilities, and events.
2. Membership Services: Assist with membership inquiries, new member registrations, membership renewals, and collect membership dues. Maintain accurate member records and update membership databases as needed.
3. Reservation Management: Take and manage dining reservations, other club facilities reservations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth scheduling and resolve any conflicts.
4. Phone and Email Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries promptly and courteously. Provide information, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
5. Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies. Assist with mail handling, package deliveries, and other clerical duties as assigned.
6. Cash Handling and POS Transactions: Daily deposit, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and reconcile daily transactions.
7. Collect the Vendor Invoice from the mail from different departments, with delivery bill of lading and purchase orders, complete the match.
8. Email member account payable statement or notice through member download account statement on member website page, follow up with member payments.
9. Event Support: Assist with event planning and coordination, including managing guest lists, sending invitations, tracking RSVPs, and providing on-site support during club events. Work with Events team accordingly.
10. Security and Access Control: Monitor access to club facilities.
11. Customer Service: Address member concerns, resolve complaints, and provide assistance with inquiries or requests. Strive to exceed member expectations and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a golf club, country club, or hospitality setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Full-time:
Pay: $22.00 per Hour
40-45 per week
Commission on new Member Initiation fees: 30%
Must work Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Clock in/out at English Turn location
English Turn payroll every 2 week (complete application form)
