Bennett’s recent growth has resulted in a need for a dynamic Alternative Clean Fuels (Hydrogen, CNG and LNG) Product Manager to join our growing team.
Alternative Clean Fuels (Hydrogen, CNG and LNG) Product Manager
General Summary: This full-time salaried exempt position that is instrumental in shaping and executing the Alternative Fuels Product Marketing and sales support initiatives at Bennett Pump Company. Product marketing management responsibility of the product life cycle including development, marketing and support, to ensure the success of the product. Proficiency in various computer applications, including those for creating spreadsheets, managing databases, designing graphics, and editing web content, is essential. This position will report to the Vice President of Strategic Accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Oversight from onboarding new customers to receipt of purchase order, production scheduling, FAT (factory acceptance testing), shipping and invoicing.
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure that new products are introduced to the market effectively and in line with company strategies.
- Sales support.
- Review all incoming requests and validate technical certification alignment.
- Perform product costing and pricing and oversee the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process.
- Review and validate all incoming orders including terms, conditions and production schedule with quote, purchase order and contract, to ensure accuracy.
- Awareness of regulatory changes and competitive updates.
- Manage trade shows, grand openings, press releases, promotional materials, and brand management.
- Trade show management including customer meetings, seminars, speakers, and post-show follow-up.
- Develop and publish monthly press releases.
- Maintain product collateral including quote forms and website support.
- Promote, schedule, and coordinate customer engagements.
- Research and communicate grant funding opportunities, working groups, board seat availability, and continuing education.

Education & Industry Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Clean Fuels Industry.
Technical Experience:
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to complete tasks assigned with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products or similar software packages, including: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and others.
- Working knowledge of Symix/Syteline & Publisher is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, perform a variety of task and follow directions.
- Experience in the use of office machines required (i.e., computer, calculator, copier, multi-phone lines, etc.)
- Must have strong typing skills- 40/60 WPM.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions. Ability to write and understand complex correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
