Job Description: As a AV Technician at EEG, you will play a vital role in both maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team. A AV Technician for EEG must be able to assist and support the department so that our venues continually operate in environments exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor tickets related to Venue equipment needs and resolve in timely manner
· Maintain A/V equipment and provide front-line support for multiple facilities
· Install electronic and electrical components into equipment racks and other locations per wiring diagrams or verbal instructions
· Move or reposition large equipment or wiring supplies
· Troubleshoot and investigate equipment issues and the ability to quickly determine problems and provide solutions during events to guarantee audio production is uninterrupted
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects of 75 lbs. unassisted and to steady objects above shoulder height
· Flexibility to work on various projects when needed
Qualifications:
· Highschool diploma or equivalent
· Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry
· Prior exposure in a nightclub/DJ oriented industry
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Can work with team and independently
· Great reliability and flexibility due to work demands
· Preferred experience:
o Working Knowledge/Experience in Q-Sys, preferably certified.
o Working Knowledge/Experience DSP programming for QSYS
o Power HD-IP Experience
o Working knowledge of Commercial Audio Video Systems
o Working knowledge of IP Video & Voice systems a plus
o Working knowledge of Cabling and Cat6 cabling a plus
o Working knowledge of Audio Video Lighting Cabling a plus
o Working knowledge of CATV system installation a plus
o Working knowledge of Audio Video Control Systems (AVCS) a plus
o Working knowledge of Networking cabling and equipment a plus
o Working Knowledge/Experience in Intelligent Lighting Op Systems
