Little Bee the SLP, LLC is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist to join our growing clinic!
Little Bee the SLP, LLC provides at-home, in the community, and teletherapy related speech/ language therapy services, specializing in treating infants, toddlers, and school aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Parent concerns are highly prioritized, to help children grow and succeed in the area of speech and language! It is important, that clinicians/therapists foster an environment where parents feel heard, comfortable, and understand the treatment methods and approaches being utilized to help support their child’s growth. We offer flexible part-time or full-time work hours, especially for parents of school-age children.
Pay rate will be determined based on experience and education.
Responsibilities:
- Complete brief and comprehensive Speech & Language evaluations
- Create individualized treatment goals/objectives and data collection systems
- Maintain a weekly therapy caseload
- Provide consultation to and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., Teachers, SLPs, OTs, PCPs, etc.)
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to report progress and challenges as well as provide opportunities for them to be involved, promoting the carryover of services
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certification by the American Speech and Hearing Association is required (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed by the State of Rhode Island as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Clinical experience with young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
