```Duties```:
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
- Gather necessary documentation from clients, including W-2 forms, 1099 forms, and receipts
- Utilize accounting software to input and organize financial data
- Analyze financial information to identify potential deductions and credits for clients Communicate with clients to gather additional information or clarify any discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant tax preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process •
- Enter financial data, maintain records and prepare reports and financial statements
- Reconcile monthly bank statements, petty cash accounts, and credit card statements
- Record any necessary adjusting journal entries to correct discrepancies • Perform other bookkeeping and tax duties as needed and assigned
- Assist with Customer Service E-mail
- Assist with Client Intake Process
- Report significant issues to CPA
- Ad hoc projects as needed
```Requirements```:
- Technical accounting knowledge and understanding of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial information accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- Previous experience corporate accounting is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
