**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks and provide support in legal research, drafting documents, and case preparation.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct legal research on various topics as assigned
- Assist in drafting legal documents such as briefs, demand letters, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather case information
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal procedures
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
- Assist in preparing cases for litigation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel professionally
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field - preferred
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in legal research methods and databases
- Familiarity with various areas of law such as workers' compensation, patent law, tribal law regulations, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively
- Knowledge of phone etiquette when communicating with clients and colleagues
