POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for business unit revenue, expenses, pricing, and profitability, as well as account receivable accountability. Sales area covers Co-packing opportunities, Walmart pre-pack Hispanic Cheese D90, Industrial accounts & Food Service Accounts for Hispanic Cheese - All Darlington Direct Sales. No warehouse is needed. Develops new business by analyzing account potential, initiating, developing, and closing sales cycle. Collaborates with team of Store managers and sales associates to ensure successful execution of negotiations.
Increases profitability by identifying and selling to prospects, by maintaining relationships with clients, and by designing and executing operational efficiencies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Develops sales and marketing strategies to support sales increase.
· Responsible for achieving EBITDA Goals
· Handling Pricing definition and promotional strategy for Darlington Direct Sales
· Manage Walmart D90 account Hispanic pre-packed cheeses, including Manages cross-dock service 3rd party for product delivery; manages relation with Walmart Replenishment Manager – to process Pos; manages relation with Walmart Associate Buyer D90; responsible on keep a healthy Walmart’s Score Card
· Manages Dairy Co-packed opportunities, including working with Dairy R&D to develop new skus; define price strategy; attend and promote product in Customer Food shows
· Responsible to manage Hispanic Dairy Food Service business; manage current FS accounts, e.g Sysco, US Foods, Ben E. Keith, Restaurant Depot; support on open new FS accounts, e.g. PFG; negotiate directly new accounts, .e.g. Cheney Bros
· Co-responsible for Account Receivables on Darlington Direct Sales
· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
· Works with multiple Stores Director, Procurement Directors to discuss and prioritize work initiatives.
· Gives up-to-date information relating to customer opportunities.
· Establishes relationships with clients and provides high standard of customer service continually.
· Gives a rundown of the level of competition and general market activities daily to the Branch Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bilingual English/Spanish
· Associate degree in business, finance, marketing (or related field or equivalent work experience)
· Minimum 5 years account management experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (perishables a plus)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA’s)
· Pricing structures and promotion/trade expenses & planning
· Inventory management.
· Tracking/improving KPIs.
· Accounts Receivables – (meeting DSO goals)
· Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
· Exposure to DSD business models a plus
· Strong technical and analytical skills
· Able to motivate team to meet sales goals and coach as needed.
· Ability to work within a matrix organization.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
· Travel frequently up to 50% of Time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Be able to carry load of 40 lbs.
COMPENSATION
· $86,874-$108,592 depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
· This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations.
