Job Summary
The Groundskeeper is responsible for performing groundskeeping and general maintenance on their assigned property grounds and buildings. This position is also responsible for maintaining and ensuring the necessary equipment's proper function and keeping the ground of their assigned properties clean and safe.
Essential Functions

Performs routine upkeep and maintenance of building and grounds.

Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair and ensure equipment is repaired in a timely manner.

Troubleshoots issues and help determine necessary groundwork or repairs with Community Manager and Regional Manager.

Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance with approval from Community Manager/Regional Manager.

Maintain the ground of assigned property by performing essential landscaping duties such as cutting grass and snow removal.

Ensure common and public areas, such as sidewalks, are always clear of trash and foliage.

Keeping all storm drains clear of foliage and debris.

Ready property for various weather conditions, such as salting sidewalks and common areas.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

The ability to communicate and positively interact with team members and residents.

Experience with lawn equipment a plus but will train

Physical Job Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Frequent use of lawn equipment and other community maintenance machinery

75% or more of the time will be spent walking around assigned properties on a daily basis.

Physical demands of this job typically require full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Frequent need to utilize transportation to inspect assigned communities

Must have a valid driver's license
