Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. The successful candidate will be responsible for querying data using SQL, creating insightful dashboards using Tableau, and analyzing data from our ERP systems. The Senior BI Analyst will work closely with stakeholders from company executives to branch users to track key performance metrics and answer business questions using data. Ensuring data validation and the accuracy of reported numbers is critical in this role.
MUST LIVE IN UTAH FOR CONSIDERATION, preferably in Ogden Utah.
Position will be Hybrid.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Data Querying and Analysis:

Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from the ERP systems using SQL.

Develop complex SQL queries to support various data analysis needs.
Dashboard Development:

Create, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards in Tableau.

Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and meet the needs of stakeholders.

Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate and align with existing financial reports.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Engage with company executives, branch users, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.

Present data findings and dashboards to non-technical audiences effectively.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Monitor and report on the performance of the company as whole, as well as individual branches and field technicians.

Provide in-depth financial analysis to support the senior financial leadership and other financial stakeholders.
Education/Qualification:
-
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics.

Proven experience with SQL and Tableau.
Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

Strong expertise in Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.

Solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and adapt to their needs.
Preferred Qualification

Experience in a similar industry

Knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices

Experience working with data sourced from an ERP.
