Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and personable individuals to join our team as Restaurant Servers. As a vital member of our front-of-house staff, the Server plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering attentive service, offering menu guidance, and creating memorable dining experiences.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage with guests of diverse backgrounds and preferences.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. (Lunch & Dinner Shifts)
Pay & Benefits:
- $10.65 per hour plus gratuity
Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Welcome guests with a warm greeting, seat them at their tables, and provide menus. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or special requests they may have.
- Order Taking: Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring attention to detail and customization preferences. Communicate orders promptly and accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Service Excellence: Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, presenting dishes with care and attention to detail. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or additional needs.
- Menu Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of the restaurant's menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials. Provide recommendations and assist guests in selecting menu items based on their preferences and dietary restrictions. Our newly expanded menu also includes in-house steaks & chops.
- Upselling and Promotion: Promote additional menu items, specials, and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to upsell appetizers, desserts, and beverages.
- Table Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and dining areas throughout service. Clear dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including kitchen staff, bartenders, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Communicate guest feedback and special requests to the appropriate team members.
