Job: Scaffold Foreman
Job Purpose: Safely lead work crews to complete scaffolding project for ASI customers, clearly communicate with ASI customer, work crews, and ASI Operations Team, complete each scaffolding project safely, and efficiently
Forman Responsibilities:
- Review each project, identify specific jobsite issues, as well as jobsite logistics and safety considerations and generate a plan to complete the job safely and efficiently
- Communicate with the ASI Operations and Sales Team to understand project needs, including but not limited to project specific safety training, required equipment, tools and other Operation Team requests
- Assign job tasks to crew members based on crew member skill level
- Create a clear line of communication with customers, crew members, and ASI
Operations and Sales Team throughout entire project
- Ensure all crew members follow ASI procedures and jobsite safety procedures
- Evaluate crew member performance and periodically communicate performance assessment with ASI Operation Team
- Report directly to ASI Operation Team
Forman Responsibilities:
- Arrive at ASI facility on time
- Conduct daily DOT inspection of vehicle and submit paperwork at end of day
- Inspect equipment loaded on truck/trailer to ensure no loose materials
- Clock in crew members on Crew Tracks to track job efficiency
- Communicate with customer before leaving ASI facility to advise on ETA
- Assign crew members specific task for the day during travel time or upon arrival on jobsite
- Recognize the responsibility of being the competent person and make sure all crew member(s) are following ASI, jobsite, and industry specific safety procedures upon arrival on jobsite
- Upon arrival on jobsite, communicate with customer regardless of their presence on the jobsite
- Gain a firm understanding of jobsite logistics and any safety or otherwise noteworthy obstacles they may pose a hazard or result in downtime
- Downtime encountered should be documented in Crew Tracks with notes and photos, and the customer and ASI Operation Team should be notified
- Practice good housekeeping prior to departure of the jobsite (this includes equipment organization, tool inventory, returning of keys, etc.)
- Inform customer of any pertinent information prior to departure
- Upon arrival back to ASI facility, assign a crew member to complete the following tasks and any other tasks that you deem necessary: o Remove trash and wipe down interior of the ASI vehicle o Unstrap trailer/truck and inform ASI yard employees if equipment on trailer/truck is ready to be unloaded or if it is needed for the next workday o Load equipment for next day or hook up trailer if loaded
- Complete all necessary paperwork, time sheets and rental contract, for the day before leaving or delegate to a single capable employee
- Prepare for the next workday by clearly communicating with the ASI Operations
- Team
- Complete all Crew Tracks’ associated tasks and submit for review
- Prepare for the next workday by clearly communicating status of job with ASI

Foreman Essential Job Qualifications
In order to be qualified to perform the job of Scaffold Foreman you must be able to:
- Legally operate an ASI motor vehicle (hold a valid driver’s license and be able to be insured by ASI’s liability insurance carrier)
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
- Move yourself in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces or move from one jobsite to another.
- Adjust or move objects up to 125 pounds in all directions
- Conduct repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Operate machinery power tools and/or heavy equipment
- Often work outside in varying temperatures and deal with various outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
- Communicate with others to exchange information.
- Assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Occasionally work inside in confined/restricted/noisy environments
- Occasionally work at jobsites with hazardous conditions.
- Occasionally work mandatory overtime
- Occasionally travel to jobsites in other towns that will include overnight stays
- Occasionally work 2nd or 3rd shift based on customer needs
- Endure prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, and kneeling

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
