We’re looking to hire a self-motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Property Manager in the New Albany, Indiana area. This position is under the general direction of the Property Manager and assists with the overall operations of the property.
Property Name/Address: Cross Creek at Belleview - 2606 Green Valley Road, New Albany, IN 47150 (59 units).
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week).
Work Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour, plus monthly cell phone reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous property management or housing experience.
- Ability to multitask, work as a team, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient with technology and Google for Business products.
- Effectively communicates with staff, residents, vendors and other individuals.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Steady work history.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Property Manager with the leasing and marketing of the property.
- Responsible for showing units to prospects.
- Assists with move-in file compliance, adhering to Affordable Housing program guidelines.
- Assists with and processes Tenant Annual Re-certifications.
- Alerts Property Manager of any issues or damages on the property.
- Enters work orders as reported by tenants.
- Assists with and conducts unit inspections.
- Issues late rent notices.
- Assist with the resolution of tenant complaints and addresses concerns.
- Completes all duties as assigned by the Field Supervisor and Property Manager.
