As an Insurance Agent, you will find clients, sell policies and negotiate settlements. You must be friendly and persuasive to sell our services and provide comprehensive advice to customers. Your day-to-day duties will include managing existing clients, prospecting for new customers, responding to client inquiries, handling insurance claims and making recommendations for coverage. Responsibilities:
- Update existing customers with the latest terms and conditions of their policies.
- Assist in the preparation of insurance applications.
- Build a positive relationship with prospective customers to help them choose the right policies for their specific needs, using data and other sales techniques.
- Ensure full awareness of all policies by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Identify and approach new clients, as well as help develop insurance strategies according to individual requirements.
- Conduct an initial risk assessment and propose an appropriate insurance policy based on customer needs and risk appetite.
- Make presentations to potential clients, both in person and by phone or email.
- Undertake regular market research to identify opportunities.
