Objective
We are looking for a high energy and driven Store Manager for Cassidy Tire Best One. The primary responsibility of the position is the oversight and day-to-day running of our retail business at the store location. This position will provide store-level leadership while managing the service of customers’ automotive needs. We need a highly motivated leader who enjoys selling, delighting the customer, and managing the workflows of a retail store. There is a great amount of opportunity and growth for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
Leadership & Supervision
Ensure a safe work environment by ensuring associates receive safety training and certifications along with enforcing safety procedures and addressing safety issues.
Drive employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where team members are involved, empowered and committed to the success of the Company.
Develop and execute strategies for recognition, engagement, and team building.
Assess performance of each associate and determine appropriate action such as promotions, counseling, termination.
Provide coaching, counseling and discipline to hold associates accountable for performance.
Schedule staffing to meet the changing daily business needs
Operations
Direct daily operations including workflow scheduling, monitoring of productivity and quality of work.
Build customer relationships and provide world class customer service.
Assess customer needs and communicate with the team to provide solutions that fit customer needs.
Meet and exceed defined goals and objectives.
Facilities and Equipment
Open and close the store as part of key holder duties (respond to after hour alarms if the store is not properly secured at the end of shift).
Ensure all equipment is working properly
Ensure the showroom, restrooms and shop are clean daily.
Administration
Manage a cash drawer, cash out customers and maintain daily cash reconciliation.
Handle day to day paperwork involved with retail operations including inventory management.
Understand and analyze store profit loss statement
Assist in interviewing, hiring and training as well as manage employee relation issues.
Qualifications:
2 years’ experience leading and managing others (managing scheduling, performance issues, coaching and training others.
2 years proven ability to generate revenue for a store and retain customer base. (preferred)
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
Results driven individual who is proactive and very detail oriented required.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills) required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Post offer the candidate must pass a physical, drug test, and background check successfully.
