Job Description / Functions of Lot Personnel
- Service Hours = Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Or as per Service Department and/or Manager determination of necessity
- All Lot Personnel are required to be ready for work 10minutes before shift start time
- All Lot Personnel are required to follow Daily Break Times as per Policies & Procedures
- One(1) Morning Break: Alternating 15 minutes upon Coffee Truck Arrival
- One(1) Lunch Break: Alternating 30 minutes upon Coffee Truck Arrival
- One(1) Afternoon Break: Alternating 15 minutes upon Coffee Truck Arrival
- Punch in and out on time card as per Policies & Procedures
- All Lot Personnel are required to dress in proper uniform attire
- as per Policies & Procedures
- All Lot Personnel are required to keep work area(s) clean and safe
- One lot person must always be in the Service Drive at all times
- Greet customers and open their car doors.
- Document Vehicle Identification Number(VIN) and Mileage on numbered key tags Give customers matching tags with documented Vehicle Identification Number(VIN) and Mileage.
- Place numbered tags on windshields mirror,
- Perform Vehicle Check-In Walk Around Inspection Sheet with customer(s)
- Document damage on Walk Around Check-In Sheet
- Walk and Introduce Customer to the appropriate Service Department Advisor
- Install Paper Floor Mats and Plastic Seat Cover inside customers vehicle
- Park customer’s vehicle in an marked spot behind the appropriate service department building
- Courtesy Car Wash for service department vehicles as per request of the Service Advisor(s)(i.e. Customer Vehicles, Loaner Vehicles, ETC)
- (Exterior Wash & Interior Vacuum)
- Process New Vehicle Inventory Shipments
- Park New Vehicle Inventory Vehicles in appropriately marked spots
- Process Loaner Vehicle In/Out Information on Loaner Agreement Form
- Perform Courtesy Shuttle Rides (as required)
- Perform Sales Department Vehicle Swap Drives (as required)
- Perform Service & Parts Department Transportation (as required)'
