Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Sustainability Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, specifically within the packaging, labeling, and trims sectors. This role requires expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, chemical substance management, sustainability certifications, and Design for Product Lifecycle (DPP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives that align with Rudholm Group’s goals and values.
- Support ESG reporting and ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations.
- Manage chemical substances in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee sustainability certifications and ensure adherence to certification standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into product development and packaging design.
- Monitor and analyze sustainability metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Educate and engage stakeholders on sustainability practices and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability management, specifically in apparel or packaging, labeling, and trims.
- Strong understanding of ESG, chemical substances, sustainability certifications etc.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex sustainability concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passionate about sustainability and committed to making a positive impact.
- Must be available to work hours that support Rudholm Group's global supply chain.
