**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform order picking and packing based on provided lists
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing trucks
- Assisting with customer inquiries, order pickups, and deliveries, and providing courteous and helpful service to customers as needed.
- Operate equipment such as cranes/lifts to move materials
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
- Inspecting incoming cabinetry shipments for any damage or defects, and ensuring that products meet quality standards before they are dispatched to customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations for warehouse operations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient and accurate operations. This may involve arranging cabinetry and related materials, and ensuring that warehouse equipment is properly maintained.
**Skills:**
- Experience in warehouse operations, including order picking and materials handling
- Proficiency in using equipment such as cranes/lifts and reach trucks
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for warehouse safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques, such as measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining wood to construct and assemble cabinets.
- Understanding of various wood types, their properties, and the ability to work with different wood materials to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Competency in using a range of hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes, and routers to shape, cut, and fine-tune wood components.
- Capability to operate power tools including table saws, drills, and sanders to efficiently and accurately fabricate cabinet parts.
- Knowledge of cabinet finishing techniques, such as staining, varnishing, and painting, to achieve a professional and polished appearance.
