About the Role:
As a General Manager for one of our top growth locations within Wabash's top transformational priority (Parts & Service), this position will be responsible for driving breakthrough customer-centric growth, championing our unified retail business system, and innovating the way we operate to improve our ability to profitably scale. As a General Manager, you will work on improving and overseeing a variety of areas, including aftermarket parts, services and upfit solution sales, price quotations, daily location operations, marketing, creating a customer centric, service-oriented business environment and compliance with all company policies and procedures. This position will be well suited for someone who possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for exceeding customer expectations, an internal drive to always deliver an outstanding customer experience and the intensity to develop and rapidly grow their business in the local market.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively develop location growth strategy and champion effective execution including communicating clear goals and providing continuous employee feedback.
- Protect the health and safety of all employees and ensure full compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
- Continuously prospect new sales opportunities and effectively build long lasting customer relationships through outstanding customer service.
- Develop an effective method of curiously monitoring competitor activity, pricing, product offering and customer satisfaction and execute countermeasures as required to maintain a market leadership position.
- Champion (and contribute to) innovation as we refine our scalable business system to drive profitable growth
- Challenge the status quo to identify and advise on new opportunities for efficiency and growth
- Manage location profitability with a focus on revenue growth, effective cost control and service efficiency.
- Develop and manage metrics that drive and continuously improve employee efficiency.
- Utilize the Wabash Management System toolset to continuously improve and streamline site work process flows.
- Grow and Expand aftermarket parts sales and delivery in the local market.
- Responsible for the selection, training, and development of all location personnel.
- In conjunction with corporate product management and marketing, ensure location product offering and marketing/advertising cadence drives market awareness and pulls customer interest toward market leading service and solutions

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any business-related curriculum
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial sales
- Experience in a management role
- Proficiency in building teams and effectively communicating with employees, managers at all levels, customers, and vendors
- Familiarity with profit and loss management
- Knowledge of the commercial vehicle parts, service and upfit industry
