Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Contract: 6 Months contract
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90024
Hours: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile Administrative Assistant to join our marketing team. This role will provide crucial support in accounts payable/receivable and office administration, flexibly filling gaps in both financial processing and administrative support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Support:
- Perform daily bookkeeping and financial reporting for marketing transactions
- Prepare reports for financial audits
- Process invoices and check requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain accounts, record entries, and reconcile books
2. Office Administration:
- Manage general work activities, calendars, and special projects
- Provide calendar support for senior management
- Maintain professional office spaces and shared work areas
- Oversee maintenance vendors, office supplies, and space organization
3. General Support:
- Adapt to various administrative and financial tasks as needed
- Ensure a tidy, professional, and welcoming office environment
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with business software; knowledge of Ascend, EPSI, and Workfront is a plus
- High level of efficiency with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively while managing multiple tasks and interruptions
- Relevant experience in administrative assistance or financial processing preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
