Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to join our team. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, ensuring high-quality food production, exceptional customer service, and efficient kitchen management. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties: - Manage and supervise all food service operations, including kitchen staff, food production, and customer service. - Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. - Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards. - Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting. - Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events, banquets, or catering services. - Conduct regular inspections to ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet company standards. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in food service. Requirements: - Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. - Strong knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and inventory control. - Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for creating reports and analyzing data. - Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
