Senior Accountant: $90K-$110K plus 10% bonus, equity
Assistant Accounting Manager: $115K-$125K plus 15% bonus, equity
Accounting Manager: $130K-$150K plus 15% bonus, equity

KBW has partnered with an innovative biotech company working to revamp the cancer treatment therapy landscape. Post IPO, this company is in the heart of the biotech hub and offers a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant, Assistant Accounting Manager, or Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with experience from a top 8 accounting firm, a CPA certification, and some exposure to the biotech industry. We are open to candidates right out of public accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze financial information, record monthly journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and prepare monthly reconciliations.
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice and receipt entry, vendor inquiries, and payment processing.
- Process and record payroll.
- Timely processing of semi-monthly payrolls and benefit management.
- Responsible for aspects of the month and quarter-end close process, including timely completion of certain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide accounting support for external audit requests.
- Act as liaison between Finance and other departments as required.
- Support the Corporate Controller and Accounting Manager in the implementation and operation of Sarbanes-Oxley internal control policies and procedures.
- Support the Accounting Manager and Director of FP&A in estimating accruals as well as support the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting process.
- Drive internal process improvements and continually identify opportunities for automation.
- Handle other ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
Experience: 2-3 years in Finance/Accounting (1-2 years in a public accounting firm strongly preferred), Biotech/pharmaceutical experience a plus
Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel; experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and/or ADP WorkForce Now a plus
Certificates & Licenses: CPA or progress toward CPA a plus
