What’s the role?
The HVAC Service Tech position is a customer facing role that provides service on High-End Residential & Commercial heating and air conditioning systems while providing customers with a high-quality level of experience. It is a fantastic role for someone who is naturally mechanically skilled, driven and detail oriented. This role is a direct path to growing into a Master Mechanic in a supportive environment.
This hands-on role is an individual or team contributor mechanic role working with customers on service, maintenance, and installations.
This is an in-person, full-time position. Salary range is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be available during regular business hours on Monday-Friday with overtime available weekends. (Please note that we take all the necessary COVID-19 precautions, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided or required.)

Who are you?

● Has 10+ years’ experience as a HVAC mechanic, and interest in being in an environment where their expertise is not only valued – but an essential contribution.
● Experience with hands-on use of a laptop for service, is important and includes:
○○○○○ Mitsubishi City Multi VRF Maintenance Tool interface.
○○○○○ Mitsubishi Diamond System Builder software.
○○○○○ Daikin VRV Service Checker interface.
○○○○○ Compressor, TXV, Linear Valve & Refrigeration Repairs.
● Familiar with Mitsubishi and Daikin VRF/VRV product lines.
● Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints well
● Strong electrical fundamentals and understanding of HVAC controls.

● is adaptable and has an appetite to learn and a devotion to personal growth
● Experienced in making decisions on repair and replacement.
● is tech savvy and comfortable working on new software and using multiple platforms

● is a natural problem solver, comfortable troubleshooting issues and providing multiple recommendations for addressing challenges. Very knowledgeable with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
● has a good command of English

● Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
● Reliable and punctual for scheduled service calls and meetings.
● Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.

● able to move, carry & lift up to 75 lbs
● has a valid social security card
● clean driving record
● Universal EPA Certification preferred and follows proper safety techniques
● Required Certificates: Mitsubishi M&P service & installation; Mitsubishi City Multi service, installation & commissioning; Mitsubishi City Multi Maintenance Tool; Daikin ductless service & installation; Daikin VRV service, installation & commissioning; EPA 608; FDNY G-60 & F-60 and OSHA 30.
● Preferred Certificates: Mitsubishi City Multi controls; Mitsubishi Diamond Designer; Daikin controls install & commissioning and Scaffolding.
● Work focused on Manhattan & downtown Brooklyn
● bachelor’s degree a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
