Job Summary
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a key role in maximizing retention and driving the adoption of Paycor’s technology with our customers. This individual contributor reviews customer configurations and product utilization and uses that information to deliver a variety of engagements, including custom training and coaching sessions, solution design reviews and consultations, and feature optimization experiences. The ideal candidate possesses technical expertise in at least one of Paycor’s core product areas. Additionally, they will be customer-focused with the ability to quickly establish rapport, understand a customer’s needs, and drive outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute on a variety of engagements with Paycor customers to help drive utilization of the platform including customized training, coaching and Q&A sessions, solution consults, and feature optimization workshops
- Maintain accurate project status in Paycor tools; provide real time updates as needed to project stakeholders; proactively identify and mitigate project risks
- Maintain subject matter expertise of at least one of Paycor’s core product offerings and related best practices; use that knowledge to enable customers to achieve desired outcomes
- Support internal partners by utilizing subject matter expertise to consult on product functionality
- Leverage Paycor product and platform expertise as a key stakeholder with the Product teams; providing technical recommendations on solutions and representing customer business needs
- Project planning by completing evaluation, scoping, preparation, and execution of billable projects
- Ability to determine root cause and develop a corresponding action plan with technology solutions, other services, and best practices to address mid- and long-term needs
- Participate in cross-functional activities to help drive the adoption of consistent processes and support methodology
- Collaborate with Learning as new products are developed and existing platforms are enhanced to improve training and preparedness
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of related, customer-facing, industry experience; prior experience in HCM preferred
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates agility in a fast-paced, service-oriented position
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC software with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite and web tools for conferencing and training

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $61,600.00-$105,164.00/year. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
