Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality care to animals, performing various medical procedures, and supporting veterinarians in delivering exceptional veterinary services.
Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Take and develop X-rays
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Proficient in IV catheterization, venipuncture, surgery and anesthesia, and dental terminology
- Experience with X-ray procedures , veterinary critical care
- Strong canine and feline handling skills
- Solid knowledge of animal anatomy and laboratory procedures
- Ability to provide compassionate animal care in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00 - $25.50 per hour
