Licensed Vocational Nurse – Full Time, Non-exempt, at Cedar House Life Change Center

We seek a Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) to join our team to continue providing high-quality Substance Abuse Treatment.

The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00 / Hour.

As a member of the Treatment Team, you will be working alongside the medical practitioners and reporting to the Clinical Director.
What You Will Do:
The LVN acts as a member of the Treatment Team by providing nursing experience to the objectives and goals of individual treatment planning.

Review and sign off on Health Questionnaires for incoming clients and uploads into our EHR

Ensure all withdrawal management clients are checked in the CURES database and results are uploaded to our EHR
-
Ensure all incoming clients have the required clearances
-
Assist the medical practitioner when they are conducting physical exams
-
Review all incoming medications at intake and from the pharmacy
-
Ensure that PPD/TB testing for all clients is done in a timely manner and records are maintained
-
Conduct rounds and provide nursing supervision in Withdrawal Management and documents in the client record
-
Instruct the staff in nursing/medical condition, leading to reduced medical/psychiatric emergencies

Coordinate and provide MAT services under the direction of the medical practitioner

Perform other duties/responsibilities the medical practitioner or supervisor assigns
Requirements:
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have the following credentials and demonstrate the following skills:

Current license and CPR Certifications
-
Two years of nursing experience (preferred) and ideally in the field of addiction treatment
-
Previous experience with PPD/TB injections
-
Understanding of the nature of alcohol/drug addiction and its recovery.

Understanding of nursing functions and operations related to substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment
-
Strong leadership capabilities
-
Understanding of federal, state, and county requirements and CARF standards pertaining to the area of expertise

The ability to work with diverse groups of people

Outstanding interpersonal skills?maintaining productive working relationships with staff

Resourcefulness, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills
