Role and Responsibilities
This position will coordinate all social media promotion and advertising throughout digital and print media. This will include establishing Instagram, Facebook, etc., putting ads in targeted marketing.
- Manage client media relations, including Developing media pitches and identifying proper local, regional or national media outlets; developing and nurturing media relationships; creating and updating editorial calendars, including those for trade publications, for upcoming opportunities.
- Writing, editing and distributing all press releases, media advisories, and media kits; tracking and reporting of media coverage; maintaining and updating media lists; developing meeting agendas and minutes.
- Review online competitor site merchandising, promotional execution and user experience to identify opportunities, see ideas through to execution.
- Demonstrating a passion and leadership competency for data-driven decision making for site placement and promotional planning, executing and optimizing website content to deliver marketing and merchandising business objectives.
-Implement SEO best practices to optimize all Product listings, Collection listings, Pages, Blog Posts, and Images.
-Manage cold paid social media traffic (FB, IG, Pinterest), and organic Pinterest traffic, to significantly increase email sign-ups while holding CPAs (Cost Per Acquisition) steady
-Manage retargeting digital advertising campaigns
-Test and optimize automated email flows
-Suggest website improvements for CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
-Present monthly reports to the team sharing progress and next steps
Qualifications and Education Requirements
At least 2 years of proven experience managing e-commerce strategy and driving growth for small or medium-sized businesses
Strong knowledge in SEO best practices, and excitement to roll up your sleeves and make continuous improvements to our website
Deep familiarity with e-Commerce software, including Shopify, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo
Experience managing digital advertising campaigns
Experience optimizing automated email flows
Some graphic design experience to create graphics from templates is preferred but not required
Experience in or passion for working in the textile / creative community is preferred but not required
Fluent in both Chinese and English.
