Position Summary:
We are currently hiring a Full Time Certified (Bilingual- Spanish/English) Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join the team at Boricua Community Health Center.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma required.

Minimum of 0-1 years of related clinical experience required.

Certification as a Medical Assistant or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant (CCMA), required.

Bilingual Spanish/English is highly preferred.

Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.

Understanding of medical terminology, computer skills, and multi-tasking.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties:
-
Obtain vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history and accurately records in medical records.

Maintains clinical logs and exam room logs.
-
Registers and verifies patient demographics.
-
Schedules appointments and recalls patients for required services.

Prepares examination rooms, maintains inventory, and sterilizes instruments.
Starting Compensation: Minimum $21.00; Maximum $21.00

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of the Bronx and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
