Job Description
Johnson Duffie, a multidisciplinary, full-service practice in Lemoyne, PA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the firm’s Family Law practice group, representing individuals with a family law challenge including but not limited to cases involving divorce, child custody, spousal or child support, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, PFAs, name changes, and adoption.

Responsibilities:
- Review, draft and file pertinent legal documents, including pleadings and court documents
- Meet regularly and communicate effectively with clients
- Provide expert legal analysis, develop case strategy and arrive at practical solutions for clients
- Work effectively and professionally as part of a team, including colleagues, support staff and others involved in a case
- Obtain and organize appropriate case related materials
- Attend court hearings
- Provide professional and creative options for resolving disputes
- Conduct effective legal research
- Contribute to the growth of the firm
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in PA
- 5 years minimum practice experience in family law
- Mature and possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation abilities
- Conscientiousness with high attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Possess skills and comfort using modern software technology to improve efficiency, such as MS Office, PCLaw, and related applications
- US Work authorization is required
- Book of Business is preferred
