Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a program to hone in on your skills? As a popular and emerging program, we are seeking a qualified Site Supervisor and teacher for our classroom. Our classroom has 12 students, and there is an assistant teacher.
We are looking for someone who has qualified experience, is a leader, and team player. This role is primarily in the preschool classroom, with minimal Site Supervisor duties, only when the Site Supervisor is not on site.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool students each month. Knowledge in whole-child approach and ability to follow school lesson plan structure
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Implementing Conscious Discipline in the classroom and adapting to school pedagogy
- Conduct activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development. Lesson plans and activities must be age-appropriate and readiness.
- Use various teaching methods to engage students in learning
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians via app
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related units required - Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting. Site Supervisor permit is a bonus!
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with admin, staff and parents
