General Purpose: Perform general warehouse duties including; shipping/receiving, picking, processing, stocking of orders and other materials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Put away product produced into customer orders as indicated on packaging schedule and customer order invoices.
- Load and unload trucks as needed using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Maintain paperwork for all product orders and Ingredients or supplies received into the plant.
- Fill out proper paperwork and load sheets while putting away production items.
- Distribute supplies and ingredient receiving papers to the proper supervisors or other DFA employees as needed.
- Distribute supplies to various areas of the production facility as needed in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Communicate with affected parties if orders are incorrect or need adjusting.
- Receive all packaging materials, ingredients, and MRO material in SAP, label and put in proper storage location.
- Cover vacations and work other shifts when needed.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts on inventoried materials.
- Pull down orders when loading trucks.
- Check to ensure loads are correct and match customer invoices before loading trucks.
- Perform general housekeeping duties thru out the facility as needed and/or directed.
- Interact with outside vendors, truck drivers and customers in a professional manner.
- Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Follow all safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as required and directed.
PAY
- Competitive pay - $22.00- $26.00 per hour based on experience.
- Rate includes $1.00 shift differential for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Must be able to qualify and be certified as a forklift operator, and must be able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, and standup high lift forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn SAP.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 1-year minimum experience in a warehouse, shipping environment is preferable.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
